This DCF77 atomic radio controlled clock receiver for Europe is an exclusive product made for Universal Solder. We designed this product in particular for the use with micro controllers. Therefore, the operating voltage is 1.5 to 5.5V, and it is compatible to 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V logic level.
We decided to produce the DCF77 atomic clock antenna receiver with a shorter 60 mm antenna because the sender in Mainflingen (Germany) is strong enough to easily cover a range from Moscow to Lisbon.
Don’t look any further: Our DCF77 atomic clock antenna module is always available!
The biggest advantage compared to other modules:
– it is available !!!
– wide operating voltage range 1.5 to 5.5V
– 60 mm long antenna
– current consumption only about 50µA
– super high sensitivity of 0.4µV (RMS)
– power down control pin
– fast start-up
– AGC control on/off
If you don’t want to develop your own project, you can find many projects online, using WWVB60 (North America) or DCF77 atomic clock antenna receiver.
From Arduino data logger to Nixon tube clocks. There are also libraries for Arduino IDE and other development sources online.
We highly recommend to read the official Wikipedia article about the DCF77 time signal.
